It has been a bitter sweet week with the arrival of Di Ford-Hall's beautiful new range of fabric, Anne's English Scrapbox. There have been lots of emotions with this range. Joy with the beauty of it, yet sadness because it is the end of Di's stunning fabric designs. Di has been taken from us far too early but through her fabric designs and her patterns she has left a legacy that will live on in many amazing quilts for years to come.
With some hectic days in the shop, I have sold out of some prints but more have been ordered. They will be arriving early October. If you missed out this time, I am taking orders for the next delivery. Just send me an email and I will help you out.
The vase fabric has been extremely popular. To give an indication of size, a full vase would sit nicely in a 8.5-9 inch block.
There are lots of other gorgeous prints too. They are listed on my website here.
The Covid-19 infection rates here in Victoria have taken a sharp rise, and Melbourne is now in another 'shut-down' for six weeks. The news reports are only focussing on Melbourne, but here in South West Victoria we are very fortunate, there have been no reported cases in the Warrnambool region for 13 weeks. My shop is open with my normal hours, social distancing and sanitising are being adhered to.
And just to prove what a crazy year we are having, here are my ornamental pear trees.
Still loosing their autumn leaves, yet starting to blossom as well! 2020 is certainly a strange year.
