I am so glad you have decided to start making this quilt. I have not actually made any blocks yet, but have collected the patterns and have 2 bins of repro fabrics ready and even cut out a few background squares for applique and printed off a couple of foundation patterns as well as pulled a few fabrics to start with. I anticipate making 50 blocks. But I really should start with one. A block a week is a doable goal. Looking closely at some of the blocks, they are similar to Di Ford's Morrell and antique Wedding Sampler but only 9 inches.
