I have been looking forward to this weekend for a number of weeks. It has been the weekend of Gum Valley Patchwork's annual Stitch in Spring. Usually a one day event, this year the increased popularity saw it run over two days.
This year the tutors were Gail Pan of Gail Pan Designs
and Leanne Beasley of Leanne's House.
Each designer had a beautiful display of their work,
and made lovely projects for us to work on.
I was lucky to spend a day stitching with my Mum, and good friends Lynette, Jane, Jodie, Tabatha, Amelia and Emma. I wont show you how much I achieved, there may have been more talking than stitching! It was also great, although too brief catching up with Granny Loz and Kris.
I also enjoyed looking through Leanne's amazing journals.
They have certainly inspired me to start recording my journey with setting up the new shop.
Thanks Linda for organizing such a fantastic day!
Lenora.
It sure was a great day Lenora. Looking forward to the next one.
