For a number of months I have been interested in forming a group of people who share a love of applique and traditional quilt-making. My aim is to form a group where members are supported, developed and inspired in their journey mastering the skills of applique. I have ideas of guest speakers, possible exhibitions and maybe challenges, but most importantly; friendship with like minded people.
So I have set a date.
Monday 17th March
11.00am - 3pm
at the Nullawarre Hall.
(2184 Timboon-Nullawarre Road, Nullawarre)
Cost: $5.00 (to cover the hire of the hall)
All are welcome.
Please bring your current hand sewing to work on throughout the day
BYO Lunch, Tea and Coffee provided. (If you have a small plate for afternoon tea it would be welcomed but certainly not essential)
For further details please call me on 0427 819105
At this initial gathering we will talk about dates, times and locations that will suit best for further meetings. I hope you can make it.
Lenora.
