Its on again, the annual Friendship Frolic, and it starts next week!
What is the Friendship Frolic I hear some asking. The Friendship Frolic started in 2015, and is an annual event held in conjunction with Linda at Gum Valley Patchwork. One day while Linda and I were chatting, we decided we needed an event to celebrate the friendships that exist between quilters.
The idea of the day is to gather your quilting friends. You will visit one of our shops then travel to the other shop, stopping at the halfway point in the township of Timboon for lunch; either a picnic you have packed or purchase from one of the eateries in town. Afterwards, visit the second shop. By spending $20.00 at each shop you will be entitled to enter the draw for a combined $300.00 voucher ($150.00 from each shop) with a second prize of a $150.00 machine quilting voucher donated by Barb Devine. There are also lots of other prizes on offer, discounts and competitions. It really is a fun day, and a great excuse to get together with your friends.
It all kicks of this coming Wednesday May 16th and ends Sunday May 20th. Both our shops open for the whole five days, and we will trade from 10.30am - 4.00pm each day. Yes, I open for a full day on Saturday. We have lots of special things planned, I do hope you can join us.
After the frolic I will be closing the shop for a short break. I will be closed from Wednesday 23rd May - Saturday 26th May, reopening on Wednesday 30th May. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may pose.
