Im writing this post tonight from the Botanical Gardens in Warrnambool, while my daughter is learning dances for her upcoming Debutante Ball. It really sums up the crazy time I am having of late.
Some lovely fabrics have arrived over the past fortnight. I chose ten bolts from the Farmhouse Red range designed by Minick and Simpson for Moda Fabrics.
Secondly six bolts of Needle and Thread Gatherings, again a Moda fabric range this time designed by Primitive Gatherings.
When I first opened the shop I could not buy shirting fabrics anywhere, luckily it has completely turned around, they are coming through thick and fast.
It is now only six weeks until AQC, (Australasian Quilt Convention), definitely the pointy end of preparations. I've started the cutting, folding and bundling fest, and lists of what I need to do are stacking up. Im praying for six weeks of smooth sailing with a tail wind.
Sorry to leave so quickly, training time is nearly up.
Happy Stitching, Lenora.
