A good friend brought to my attention last week, my lack of advertising for an upcoming class with world renowned quilt maker, Michelle Yeo. I am very guilty indeed!
Michelle Yeo who is based in Melbourne, is a world renowned quilt maker and designer, who specialises in foundation piecing. For those new to the quilting world, foundation piecing is a highly accurate form of piecing, but it can be a tricky technique to learn from books.
On the weekend of July 4th-5th Michelle will be in Nullawarre, teaching the fundamentals of Foundation Piecing. Michelle is kindly offering participants the choice between three different quilts over the weekend,
Numbers in this class are filling, so please call me on 0427 819105 to secure your place. If I may quote Brenda Papadakis, "every quilter needs a few skills in her bag". I believe Foundation Piecing is one of these skills and Michelle is certainly the expert to teach it.
Also to remind you, Di Ford is returning for another weekend class, she will visit on October 10 and 11. Again please phone me to secure your place.
And just to leaving you curious, there has been a little bit of secret event planning...all will be revealed very soon!
